I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Makayla for a couple of years now and am lucky enough to have her as one of my good friends. Jon is also a great guy and these two balance each other out beautifully. Our original date for our shoot was not off to the best start with rain, but we weren’t going to let that ruin things and embraced it instead. We had fun dodging the raindrops, hiding under trees and laughing our butts off. Luckily it did clear up, but we met up the next day for more photos with the sunset and their adorable pup, Kaia. We couldn’t have Kaia there the day before, but she was an integral part of the shoot and we wanted the whole family to shine.
